Today’s issue of WorkCompRecap features WCRI’s release of the 2026 edition of its free Medical Price Index for Workers’ Compensation (MPI-WC) report, which found most states saw faster growth in prices paid for workers’ comp medical professional services from 2021-2024, mainly due to higher inflation in the general economy. In 2025, price growth slowed in many states.
