WorkCompWire: Featured in the news today is WCRI’s release of a new edition of its CompScope Medical Benchmarks report, which examined the Delaware system and found that medical payments per claim in the state grew 7% per year between 2021 and 2023, driven by price increases in professional and hospital outpatient services. WCRI also noted that Delaware’s use of the Consumer Price Index for All Urban Consumers for adjusting its fee schedule led to medical payment increases in the most recent year.
